JCCB Overview
The Japan Congress Convention Bureau is an organization for promoting conventions held in Japan. The "Japan Congress Convention Bureau (JCCB)" was established as a voluntary organization in June 1995 for the purpose of accelerating the promotion of conventions in Japan. The former organization was the "Japan Convention Promotion Association (JCPA)", which was dissolved in May 1995.
The founding partners are the Transportation Ministry (currently Land, Infrastructure and Transportation Ministry), the Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO), convention promoting organizations (cities, convention bureaus, etc.), convention complexes, accommodation facilities, travel agencies, transportation agencies, and Convention related suppliers.
JCCB conducts various projects to attract and promote domestic/international conventions by working in close coordination with members.
